THE GOLDEN BOULDER AWARD DE GOUDEN KEI PRIJS

Since 1999 an annual award, "De Gouden Kei", "The Golden Boulder", is a symbolic golden rolling stone from the mountain river Tech in the south of France, presented to a starting female artist, in memory of the late Elly Vossen.In her lifetime an inspired artist and inspiring teacher at St. Joost Academy of Fine Arts in Breda.

She was also an active member of the board of City Thoughts.
The winner has a opportunity to stay in Elly Vossens former studio in Le Tech in the French Pyrenees, to prepare an exhibition and publication of her work.
The publication is made possible by the Sanssoucis Foundation.
In 1999, Danielle van Zuijlen was awarded the first Golden Boulder, followed by Marielle van Meel 2000,Hanneke van Hassel 2001.
